Planning on attending the 2011 Beerstock 5060-3?  Well then you'll have a chance to have your beer judged and evaluated by a judge who can answer your questions immediately afterwards.  Inspired by John Tobey's Homebrew Fair approach, we will be giving you the opportunity to bring your beer in, have in evaluated, then sit down with the judges afterwards and talk about the beer.

The judges can help diagnose the beer's good and bad sides, identify faults, and help you pick the best category to enter the beer into.

What do you need to do?

  1. Come to Beerstock 5060-3 (you need to be in a club, contact your club focal).
  2. Bring 2 bottles of your beer (or if you are bringing kegs to Beerstock, simply bring some pours up to the table)
  3. Bring a completed BJCP entry form.
  4. Bring a completed BJCP bottle label for each bottle.
  5. Bring your brewing log to talk about your recipe and brewing process with the judge.

It is a great time and a great opportunity to learn more about your beers and judging.  The entire process should take 15-20 minutes.  Simply find the judging area and we'll get you squared away.

BJCP judges THIS IS A REGISTERED BJCP EVENT.  This is an incredible opportunity to judge and then learn about your own assessment and figure out some of the reasons for what you are tasting.  We plan for judges to only evaluate for 1.5 hours so it won't take too much time out of the event.  If you are interested in judging, contact the clinic organizer.

See you at Beerstock!
