Washington "Spirit of Homebrewing" Club of the Year Award Framework

The purpose of the Washington Spirit of Homebrewing Club of the Year Award is to recognize Washington homebrew clubs who make great efforts to serve their homebrew club members, bring in new homebrewers, and support the Washington homebrewing movement. This award focuses more on how a club, large or small, sets a vision, accomplishes it, and creates a better homebrewing environment for those around them. Size and numbers are not important with this award compared to effort taken to advance and promote the homebrewing hobby. This award will use essay responses from clubs presented to the WAHA Executive Board to be reviewed by Club Representatives who will then vote for the club they feel best accomplishes their goals as well as supported the general vision of the Washington Homebrewers Association.

At the end of the year, clubs can submit their "resumes" to the WAHA, focusing on the information described in the guidelines.  After all submissions are collected, the WAHA Executive Board consisting of all club representatives will vote on the winner.  This award was implemented for the first time in 2011.
