The entry process for the National Homebrew Competition 2019 is underway! You can find more information and sign up here.   Enrollment is open January 22 -29 (3 pm MST).

Here in the Pacific Northwest Region, we’re expecting 700-750 entries, and that means we need plenty of judges!  I hope you can help us out.

Please Register to Judge!

Judge registration begins February 2.  Please go to http://apply.brewingcompetition.com/ to register.  If you have registered to enter beer here, please just use the same log-in, then edit your info to include your judging availability and info.  If you have not registered, you can sign up at the site as a judge by clicking the ‘register here’ link in the upper right.   Note you can sign up to judge in a different location than you entered

We also need a bevy of stewards!  Please encourage your homebrew buddies to register and help out.

Judging for our region will be held Friday and Saturday, March 29-30 at Bosk Brew Works in Woodinville, WA.   We will have one round of judging on Friday, and two on Saturday.  More competition information can be found here.

Visiting

Woodinville is a great place to come visit, too. It’s has a huge craft alcohol scene, including beer, cider, mead, distilleries, and over 130 wineries. There is lodging very close to Bosk, and scores of good restaurants. Plan to make a weekend of it and enjoy this great town! Learn more at https://www.visitwoodinville.org/

For lodging, the Hampton Inn & Suites-Seattle Woodinville is close to Bosk.

Thanks!  I look forward to seeing you at the judging!
