Washington homebrewers,

On Sunday, March 25th from 12:30-4:00 pm, the Joint Cascade Brewers Cup and Puget Sound Pro-Am, along with the Washington Homebrewers Association, will be presenting awards celebrating homebrewing excellence at Redhook Brewery.  The Cascade Brewers Guild, Boeing Employees Wine and Beer Makers Club, and Impaling Alers will be announcing winners in the 2012 Joint Cascade Brewers Cup and Puget Sound Pro-Am.  This competition had 513 entries making it the largest Washington homebrewing competition ever. 

The competition will also be featuring as many as 16 breweries selecting beers to be scaled up and brewed on their systems.  These selections will also be announced during the ceremony.

In addition, the Washington Homebrewers Association will be announcing the winners of its Awards Program for 2011.  This includes:

• Washington Homebrewer of the Year
• Bert Grant Competition Winners
• Golden Mash Paddle 
• Washington Spirit of Homebrewing Club of the Year
• Washington Club of the Year

All Washington homebrewers are welcome to attend this event.  It is free; however, you must get a ticket from Brown Paper Tickets in order to attend (to ensure that we have enough space).  Food and beer will be available for purchase from Redhook  You can get your ticket here (starting March 13th):  In order to buy a ticket you need the discount code.  For that code, you need to contact your WAHA rep.
