Primary Meeting Location

Because our membership is geographically dispersed, our meeting locations vary each month. They are held from Stevenson, WA to Parkdale, OR. Either informal tastings at memeber's homes or local breweries or Wyeast Labs.

Meeting Address

Columbia River Gorge WA/OR

Primary Meeting Day

The date changes as meetings are organized by a volunteer the prior month. After that it is up to them to coordinate the activity and date. Most meeting end up being on the weekend, but if someone cannot make those they can host one during the week.

Meeting Format

Social 1/2 hour, business meeting to decide next meeting and announce up coming events, informal tasting of members beers for feedback and tips.

Other

Brewers of the Gorge, or BOG, is a home brew club that meets in and around the Columbia River Gorge. We meet monthly, at a member's home or a brewery to promote the exchange of brewing tips and techniques as part of our eternal quest for the perfect pint of home brew.
BOG is all about better beer!

Our club is a group of fairly informal folks who are serious about brewing better homebrew. Annually we have a Homebrew Campout, Wild & Sour Beer tasting, and club only competition (BOG PIMP Cup 2008). In the past we have parid with a local resteraunt to do a Homebrewed Dinner, and regularly gather to brew batches in Stevenson on a 50gal system - and then split up the wort. We recently were invited by to brew at the Big Horse Brewpub and made the local paper. Next Jacob, from Walkingman, said he would love to have us in to brew with him as well! We are lucky to enjoy a great relationship with the local brewers and the folks up at Wyeast Labs - they even show up to judge the PIMP Cup.
